Tozeur the Tourist trap on on to Sbeitla

Walked around and found a semi local restaurant. The chappy kept on switching off all the lights for every person and dish in the place ^only 6 but still@ Meal was fine but we did not feel brave enough for the local specialities....Walked around the old Date plantations for a short while and wondered what life would be like living in one of these remote villages.

When going to sleep someone had decided to open the doors next to our room for ventilation of the hotel; and not secure it. With lots of wind, there was a nice cool breeze.
Very loud bangs every 5 minutes. No problem for me, as I knew Andre would not be able to resist stopping it; he just has an inbuilt dislike for this kind of thing. Same occurred next morning...

Leaving Tozeur was not a hard thing to do, although it may have been nice to dart around the palm plantations.
Gave the bike a quick check over, seemed ok, except for lots of sand in the wheels, bad for balance. It should give an impression of how deep I was sinking.... too deep.

Temperature was chilly, and I had to stop to put on my winter jacket and later a few more t-shirts.
Had to button up everything, it was only about 20 deg now.

Drove up North slowly and had some nice riding. People were often waving at us and generally quite nice.
Stopped twice but did not like the towns so we ended in Sbeitla. This is an old Roman town, tomorrow we'll go for the ruins! Here is a preview pic we took from the side of theroad;
