The run accross the Med was fine, but it was a bit choppy, we had the most forward cabin and the bangs of the waves and flexing of the vessel was evidence that things were a bit nasty out there.
The smell of vomit in the corridors of the ferry showed we were more used to this than others.
We were the first off the boat, and followed on to passport and customs checks.
Andre picked the ladies, I was more sensible and chose two chaps waiting by their side who waved me through.
Andre was however in the open everything line, but they quickly gave up and let him through.
Took some highways out of Marseille and got going direction Le Puy and Velay via smaller roads. Good fun, beautiful country.
Stopped in some small village for an overnight camp and relaxed for a bit by the river.
